Install LightBuddy

Download the latest LightBuddy installers for macOS and Windows.

Download for MacLightBuddy 0.3.5 macOS installerRequires macOS Monterey 12 or later. Apple Silicon and Intel Macs supported.Download for PCLightBuddy 0.3.5 Windows installerRequires Windows 10 or later. 64-bit Intel, AMD and Arm64 Windows PCs supported.

Before you install

Installation notes

LightBuddy installers are not yet code-signed or Apple notarized. Only use these steps for an installer downloaded directly from this site.

macOS

  1. Open the downloaded DMG and drag Light Buddy.app to Applications.
  2. If macOS cannot verify the developer, open System Settings → Privacy & Security and choose Open Anyway for LightBuddy.
  3. You can also Control-click the app, choose Open, then confirm.

Windows

  1. Download and open the installer.
  2. If Edge warns about the download, use its Downloads panel to choose Keep.
  3. If SmartScreen appears, choose More info, then Run anyway.
